Radial engines

Post by 787 »

Hi I'm just finishing building my B-24. I'm going to leave it naked. I painted it Boeing green primer. I've been looking for fake little radial engines for it, but have had no luck. Any ideas?

I've used nylon screws cut along their length, when they are painted gunmetal or some ther metalic colour they look pretty good. I also used bits of wire on this Reggiane RE2000 as "pushrods"

Here is another.

The B-17 for the most part used a Wright R-1820 radial engine.

Thanks for getting my picture to work BillParker.
Thanks for the all the suggestions!
The kit did come with the plastic ones, wanted to see if i could get a more realistic radial engine.

The engines that are on the hannants web site, Do those come painted? They look really nice.

Oh, and I am not sure if the are the appropriate size you require. You should check measurements and check theirs.
