Hobby Lobby has a hand punch that will punch a 1/16 inch rectangle. Even though its main purpose is for punching paper. I use it for punching all the notches in balsa parts.
They also have hand punches for various hole sizes and stars, if you're so inclined.
Look for the item among all the punches (border punch, edge punch, hand punch) in the store. It's made by the Paper Studio
