J.B.Deeden WW1 aircraft prints

Post by cliffm »

While over at an old freinds house helping him with an electrical problem I noticed some ww1 aircraft prints that seemed quite exceptional for their detail. They are quite beautiful and I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of this artist as I found nothing on google about him.

I finally found the origin of these prints and the artists name is Deenen not Deeden as I mistakenly posted . They are called the WW1 Eagle series and he also has some prints of some WW2 aircraft as well. As to there availability my search says they are sold out. On the other hand their price was like $8 a piece. Well worth it. Later.

James B. Deneen is a modern artist and his prints cover nostalgic planes. trains and automobiles. Prints run around $10 with rare, signed and original paintings running over $100. I just saw "The Von Richthofen Legend - Plate II - Ordre Pour le Merite" framed print by Deneen go for $150.

My friend has 6 of the ww1 prints. I'm going to start the trading off with a $200 guitar. Wish me luck.

Considering the prints went for $8 each, I think I would trade you if I had the prints!
