No, I found them at a hobby shop. There light and thin enough to fit into the wing. I am having trouble with the servo not having enough power to fully retract them. I may have to switch to a larger servo. I'll post some new photos soon.

John- The wheels are GWS 1.5 inch dia. They are the super light weight.

I actually have one of these kits sitting in the to be started pile. I would really like to try a conversion of this myself, so please keep posting your progress.

That P-40 looks extraordinary, how's it fly? Exceptionally nice looking craftsmanship such as this requires just a little bit of love and a lot of dedication or is it the other way around? I just love them old warbirds.

The P-40 in the background is an adventure to fly. It is about 16 oz. and not balanced as well as it should be. I have flown it a hand full of times but the last time it took a decent amount of damage. It may be time to put it on the shelf. I'll post some pictures of the damage.
