RC 180

Post by krob »

I Started this a long time ago, but I'm going back to school and working. Very busy! This is 3 channel and weighs only about 48grams with battery.
I elongated the wing almost three inches.

A very pretty plane. How does this do in the air? I have one in the closet and I haven't done anything with r/c in about twenty years. Back in those days you couldn't fit anything into a Guillow's Kit, nothing was minaturized. Great job!

flight

It flies okay. There is too much throw for a big rudder, so you have to be sensitive. Besides that, it's great for touch in goes in front of the house.

I used the motor for a parkzone sukhoi xp. It's just over 10 bucks. Then I used the reciever for an erc micro warbird; it was less than $20. It has built in servos, so I didn't need to buy those. That made it pretty cheap only because I already the tx for the erc planes. I think they stopped making those micro warbirds, though. Too bad, they were cheap, and great little front yard flyers. The battery is a 150 mah that was less than $10, I think.

I'd say about 4 to 10 minutes depending how much throttle I'm using.
