The P-38 is arguably the best... Forget that, it is THE BEST fighter of world war two, and is epically AWESOME!

I really like these 500 series kits, they build pretty straight forward, don't take space or resources and you can detail these like any of the others. Keep posting.

Where did you get those pins? Are those the "bug" pins?

Actually, they are old sewing machine needles.... Don't tell mom!

Why is it that mom always seems to have just what you need?
sewing needles
muffin pan to separate parts
wax paper
,etc., etc.,
the almost empty peanut butter jar that you want to store your rubber bands in and you volunteer to dispose of the remaining peanut butter.

I may be wrong, but your tissue techniques are looking really good. This is going to be a very nice build. Keep us posted.

I gotta tell ya that those sewing machine needles are not the economical way to go here. Besides, when Mom wants to take in a hem, she will figure this out, who's guilty and who's gotta pay! Take my advice and pick some regular pins up. By the way it still looks very good!

indeed. if you really are keen on getting something from mom's sewing kit, get the magnetic pin holder.

Sounds like the time I found this big jar of coins in a barn. Nobody seemed to miss them until they missed them. I won't reiterate the rest of the story, it brings back some painful memories. Please note the emphasis on PAINFULL.
