BOOK ON ELECTRI R/C

Post by UPLANDBOY »

Would someone recommend a book(s) for a modeller considering electric flight in RC. Currently I have "zippo" knowledge of the equipment and sizing requirements.

Thanks for your interest and help

The only books that I am aware of are grossly outdated as the field of electric RC planes is rapidly moving. Even some of the web sites out there have some really dated info. Maybe the best source I can give you is this page listing several electric RC conversions of Guillow's kits: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=827861

If you look around that forum you'll find a wealth of knowledge in sticky threads.

This website has a lot of information for Noob’s. http://www.microflight.com/Online-Catal ... ro-RTF-Set. I also am a Noob to RC. I have the Classroom Fighter and the Micro Racer. I recommend them both. Also FMS RC Simulator can be downloaded free from this site. They also have free downloads of there models for the simulator.
