2011 "G" Challenge Winners

The 2011 "G" Challenge is over and the results are in! The placings are based on the flying time plus the appearance and craftsmanship score judged by Mark Tennant and the staff at Guillow. Prizes are given for the best overall placing and the best appearance and craftsmanship score.

First place went to David Scigliano (Scigs30) The model he entered got a very good appearance score and maxed out the flying points. Everett Smiley took second with the first ever max (100 pt) score for appearance and a very credible flying score. Shows that a fabulous looking model can be a good flier too. Eric Monda was third over all, I was fourth, Charlie Barnes was fifth, and Pete Petrowske was sixth.














I want to thank all the members who started a model for this Challenge as well
as the members who completed entries.
