On all of the other kits in the 500 series of low wing warbirds the wing formers and the fuselage mate somewhat closely (nothing that sandpaper wont fix) however the wings on the Zero/Ruffe do not match at all.
How exactly do you manage to attach them?
I mean on most of these a thing bead of glue on the centerline and central wing rib and a little dab on the F2 ribs and the fuselage side formers and you can get somewhat of a good fit. The Zero/Ruffe just doesnt seem to work well.

Re: attaching the wing on the 500 series Zero/Ruffe
The two ribs on either side of the wing joint line up with the fuselage sides in the saddle. If I remember correctly I also added a 3/32" cross member to the bottom of former that the TE of the wing butts up to. This gave me a surface in the fuselage to glue the TE to. Hope this helps. I had no problem at all. Usually a little sanding will do the trick....

Re: attaching the wing on the 500 series Zero/Ruffe
My issue was more with the Double rib in the center of the wing as shown on the plans. The double rib spacing leaving a 1/16th inch gap between the F1 wing ribs this leaves very little for the keel of the fuselage to attach to. I wound up taking the easy route and glued a few pieces to the keel so as to glue into the space between the wing ribs.
