thrust angles
i am almost complete building a 500 series me 109. i converted it to electric rc. i just need to paint it now, and mount the motor. i made the wig removeable. i think i should give the motor a bit of down and left thrust. also i heard i should change the wing incidence by 5degrees. i assume this means dropping the leading edge a bit. can anyone help me by giving me some more precise settings to start with ? thanks.

Re: thrust angles
Fairly certain you need to put the thrust angle down and to the right.
Not sure about wing incidence.

Re: thrust angles
David,
I would love to see a picture of the model BEFORE you fly it!
For free flight models, thrust needs to be down about 3 degrees and to the RIGHT. The torque of the prop spinning will want to put the plane in a left turn. The down thrust puts the model in the proper climb attitude.
You will be able to adjust as you have RC. Hope you have enough adjustment for trim.
Good Luck flying! Mitch
