please let me post my builds again. thank God U let me post one on Painting with Acrylics so I could show David Duckett my plane. they are on the Yahoo group "The Underdogs" thats the name of my group. I'm the only member.

Thats a p-40 Warhawk I did for a display model using a tequnique by a guy who was one of the best on this forum. Unfotunately he had a disagreement or whatever and pulled all his posts. I infilled the whole thing, applied lightweigjht spackle, and used acrylic paints. Not bad for my first try at that display type model. Yes the guy David Duckett built display balsa models that were as detailed,or even more so than any plastic kits. Look at my Build thread from P-4o. Its probably way back . You can still check out D.D.'s work on Virtualaerodrome. Who knows, maybe when your hubby sees how nice these wood planes can be for display, you might get him to try it. I like flying them, but now incorporate much of what I learned building this display in my flying models now.
