I'm done the framework, and it weighs 48g. I thinks its alot. The wings could have been made lighter I think. I'll have more pics later. I'm going to do the B-25 next. Probably just fr show. its very heavy.

changed My mind again. I am going to attempt RC 3 ch. I remade the elevator from solid 1/16" balsa. and a toothpick. I find it to be lighter and easier on RC. I built and filled in the nose, Then cut it off at B2. This will be for motor mounting. The cut off piece will end up as the cowl.

I think it says 25" Ws on the plan, but My Plane measures 24 3/8". Also can any one suggest a balance point, and settings for the horizontal stab and wing angles. (decolage) as I understand is not the angles, but the ratio of these angles in regards to the wing angle. And which way is positive and negative. Pictures would help. Thanks. I have read that 1deg pos and 1 deg pos on stab and wing is a good setting.

Were the choppers ever produced? I have seen alot of those in kit form priced at antique prices,but never remember coming across helicopters. Would like to hear if anyone had built one and if they were meant to fly or just a static kit.

I have no idea if they flew. There are alot of Jets so I assume they were static. I found that pic on E Bay. I am placing the side windowsa on now as I think it will difficult to do so after the wing is on. I,m copying the color sceme from the Beaver. Sorry for referring to the Fairchild as a 300 series before. It just seems to fit in that size catagory. I may use My Parkzone Champ as a donor for Rx and motor. Depends on the AUW. I may use a small brushless if its too heavy.I have not had good results with those "bricks" as far as reliability. I use Elmers glue to attach the windows. Never had a problem. Dries clear and a lot cheaper than Canopy Glue.
