Hello all.... "old" newbie to the hobby.
Hello to all my fellow modelers. I have built a few stick and tissue planes when I was younger (I was member of the aviation club back in Junior High). Also; have been into RC aviation for a little over 10 years now, but have finally decided to give rubber powered free flight a try after a hiatus of 20 +/- years. I should be receiving my kits within the next few days (Estimated delivery date is 01/14; but I am anticipating it to possibly take an extra day or so with the weather). Has anyone else ever ordered kits from AC Supply?? Upon looking online; it seems as if they had the lowest prices that I could find. Anyways, ordered a Lancer, and the Bird-dog, Mustang, Trojan, and the Typhoo from the 900 series. Guessing the Lancer will be the first one I assemble as from reviews that I have seen is little less challenging than the others. Any good advice for me before stepping off and taking the plunge into this sure to be exciting hobby?

I've ordered a lot of Guillow kits through AC Supply and they are very reliable. The Lancer #604 would probably fly better if you doubled the wing chord. It's shy on wing area, in my opinion.
