Greetings to all!
I've made a mistake and need help correcting it.
For glue, I use Testors wood glue in the green tube. When I came back to the work table I noticed the aircraft had slipped and come to rest against my parts bin, so now the wing isn't square with the fuselage, and as its a high wing cabin I can't get a blade in between the two without ruining the whole thing.
So---does anyone have any ideas on how to dissolve or unstick this kind of glue?
Thanks in advance for any help

you can add more green cement as long as it hasent been days and it "may" rework.

Re: How can one dissolve glue?
Henry,
Testors "green glue" dissolves in acetone. You can get it in cans at Home Depot, Lowe's, etc., in the paint department. Use an eyedropper to put it on the joint you want to release. Put a drop on the joint and apply a little tension to the joint. When the glue dissolves the joint will pop open. Be patient, if you use a lot of glue it may take more than one drop. I often temporarily tack a model together with small dabs of "green glue" for "bones shots" knowing that I can take it back apart with a few drops of acetone and continue building. I usually build with TiteBond II, Scotch Quick-Dry Tacky glue (a kind of white glue), or CA. The resin glues are immune to acetone, and while CA isn't it takes a lot of ordinary acetone to debond it. Careful with the acetone, it's toxic and flamable.
Hope this helps,
Howard
