They are pictures, and I am not sure why. Sometimes that message comes up, maybe it has something to do with his photo hosting.

Lynn, the reason may be because you are not logged in. In order to save bandwith, only users can view the attachments. this reduces the amount of work the servers have to do. try logging in if you get an error message again.
Anyways, i am in total agreement with whoever said that these kits actually do have a lot of holes in them for a "build by number" beginer plane. The warbird series are much better. It makes me think... maybe guillows rushed these or something? there sure are a lot of mistakes/size mismatches/gaps in the instructions. Build by number, but we left a few numbers out so you can figure those out. that doesnt work for me.

Guillow's Cessna 180 Skywagon Kit Number: 601
Wing Span: 20"
Build Photos at:

If I had seen the A6 modification you illustrated before I glued it on, I'd be telling everybuddy I invented it. Very good design change, and way better than plan. Outstanding!

I hope everyone posts some pictures of their builds soon......
Andrew

I picked up the kit tonight from my friend who bought it for me at the weekend. I had to endure the gym though to get it but it was worth it.
Mecano now I've not thought of that for many years I used to love it along with lego!
I'll be starting the kit real soon!

Re: Cessna 180 Group Build
I got my fuse about 90% completed. Just need to do the gear, bottom stringers, sand and shape it and it's done.
I sure don't like the idea of putting wire landing gear on befor covering it, but I don't see really any other good way of doing it.

Re: Cessna 180 Group Build
Hi guys
I finally managed to find some time this evening to start the build tonight. I've had some real busy days in London working and I've just not had time to start.
I weighed the wood and it came out at 22 grams.

I spend a little time to get organised and I made the rudder and stabiliser with a couple of fixes with scrap balsa.

I'm hoping that now I have started I can really get cracking
!!
