Finished Spitfire 500

Post by NiteSeer »

Hi all-

I wanted to share my finished Spit with you. However, It does need some cosmetic work. The fuselage roundels were very uneven. The yellow part was extremely uneven. Consequently, I eliminated it. I will not fly this because the fuselage is not true. Weight wise, it is pretty close. Now, its time to work on its big brother, 403.

Looks good, these are tough kits to make fly. They require a lot of clay in the nose and the rudder and stab are too small. I am currently building a 20 inch vintage Comet kits Spitfire.

Thanks Scigs. I like to look at your models. They are great and I like your ideas and I try to use them.

Now it is on 500's big brother, the 403.
